Results from the Clouds Show
We’d like to thank Reckless Records for giving us an ethernet (wired) connection to quicKast the Clouds performance on Friday. Their store was packed full of people, and the concert was also excellent for those watching on neokast.com. Our laptop was placed on a CD shelf right behind the band, and they were rocking so hard everything was bumping up and down backstage, including the laptop.

Why then was the quicKast still extremely stable? We took a long USB 2.0 cable and placed our camera and tripod away from the laptop. This enabled us to get a smooth camera shot with the tripod locked in place. Then all you see is the end result:

When you’re quicKasting out in the field, you have to work with what you have at each event and use it to your advantage. People watching your quicKasts can then say “How the heck did you…” ![]()
